The Power of Building for Women, By Women

.The Girls Spot .Because of women. For women.

When was the last time a gym felt like somewhere you could truly belong? For many, the local gym
doesn’t always feel like a place of comfort, so here Natalee comes. The Girls Spot isn’tyour average gym. It’s warm, bold and designed with care. It’s unapologetically
pink, strictly female-only, and intentionally hidden — and that’s exactly the
point.
Founded by a Blackwoman who launched the space while caring for her baby (yes, read that again).
“The Girls spot could not be more about community”
Why The Girls Spot?Because it’s more than a place to work out — it’s a place to feel part of something. No staring, no pressure. Just a space where women can feel
comfortable, supported, and safe. A space designed with them in mind from the
start — not as an afterthought. And clearly, she’snot the only one who needed it — 5,361 women signed up in under 48 hours.

A sanctuary, not a service

Everything inside TheGirls Spot is intentional, and that’s what makes her different to other gyms.
The entire gym is pink, can you believe? Pink walls, pink equipment, and pink
everything.

Something incrediblyinspiring about the gym is Kehlani’s Korner. It was created and dedicated to Natalee’s daughter, Kehlani. You can never miss it – a pink corner with a pink flower wall, and bean bags all over to allow the women to socialise and connect.
Natalee didn’t stop there. This gym is for women — in every detail. She’s partneredwith an osteopath and a fertility acupuncturist, offering support for hormonal health, fertility, and more. Not only that, you can book a massage too!

Women have access tosafety alarms, complementary supplements and hygiene products. This isn’t just
about fitness. This is about recovery.

But here’s thebacklash...

At £120 a month, it’s not cheap. She was heavily criticised for the membership prices as well as the
gym being entirely pink.

Her answer? Direct as hell:

“I need my women’s only gym to be so pink, so cutesy, so girly pop that it serves as a natural
deterrent to the male species.”

You can call it expensive and too pink, but Natalee’s not here to please everyone – she’s here to build a community ‘where women are free to dance in between sets, workout to
songs they enjoy and have a chill area with massage guns’.

The price isn’t just for machines — it’s for peace, privacy, and community. The location isn’t public. You don’t even know where the gym is until you’ve signed up.

So no, it’s not just a gym.

It’s a cultural reset in pink.
